Day 1. Arrive in Srinagar
Arrive in Srinagar, where you will be transferred to a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. Relax and enjoy the charming views as you cruise through the serene waters on a shikara ride. In the evening, enjoy a cozy dinner aboard the houseboat and absorb the peaceful ambiance of the lake.
Day 2. Srinagar Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the famous Mughal Gardens—Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. These gardens, built by Mughal emperors, offer picturesque views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Visit the Hazratbal Shrine, and later take a stroll through the floating market. Enjoy shopping for Pashmina shawls and Kashmiri handicrafts.
Day 3. Srinagar to Gulmarg
Post breakfast, depart for Gulmarg, a scenic hill station famous for its meadows and adventure activities. Take the Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak and enjoy panoramic views of the snow-covered peaks. Stroll through the meadows and experience the natural beauty of the area. Relax in the evening with a comfortable stay in a local hotel.
Day 4. Gulmarg to Pahalgam
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (approximately 4 hours). Known as the "Valley of Shepherds," Pahalgam is famous for its natural beauty and tranquility. Enjoy a visit to Betaab Valley, take a peaceful walk along the Lidder River, or explore the local markets for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. Enjoy a relaxed evening at your budget accommodation.
Day 5. Pahalgam Local Sightseeing
Explore the beautiful Aru Valley, a serene spot perfect for nature lovers. You can enjoy a short trek or a pony ride (optional) to Baisaran, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Spend the afternoon shopping for souvenirs in the local market and savor a traditional Kashmiri meal.
Day 6. Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Srinagar. Depending on your flight schedule, you can either explore the local markets one last time or visit the Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic views of the city. Finally, transfer to Srinagar airport for your departure.
